Chase Utley leads the entire National League in All Star Game voting. Second is Albert Pujols and third is.... Raul Ibanez? He is getting so much recognition for his incredible play this season. Jimmy Rollins is also miraculously leading all NL shortstops. Now all we need to do is get Pedro Feliz, Carlos Ruiz, and Shane Victorino some more votes.
Here are the other current standings posted on Phillies Nation:
First base: Ryan Howard remains in second, some 1,000,000 votes behind Pujols.
Third base: Pedro Feliz keeps fourth place. He’s 400,000 votes behind leader David Wright.
Shortstop: Jimmy Rollins still leads shortstops, but is only 80,000 votes ahead of Hanley Ramirez.
Catcher: Carlos Ruiz moves to fourth place, a doable 200,000 votes behind leader Yadier Molina.
Outfield: Shane Victorino is in fifth place, just 200,000 or so votes behind third-place votegetter Carlos Beltran. And Jayson Werth is now in ninth place, about 300,000 votes behind Victorino.
